Free estate planning for qualified police and firefighters

The First Responder Will Clinic provides basic estate planning documents— wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives— for free to Washington police officers and firefighters (and their spouses or registered domestic partners).

The next clinic will take place on Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Seattle. Preregistration is required because space is limited. The registration period for the September clinic will open in early August, about 30 days before the clinic.

Only Washington residents are eligible to participate, and must have assets of $750,000 or less ($1.5 million, if married).

The First Responder Will Clinic is a program of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Washington State Bar Association.
