John S. Palmer – Attorney-at-Law

John’s areas of practice are estate planning, trust drafting and administration, probate, guardianship, and family law. He represents parties in contested trust, estate, probate, guardianship, and family law matters, and provides legal advice and representation to trustees, legal guardians and other fiduciaries.

John is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; the Guardianship and Elder Law Section of the King County Bar Association; the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington Planned Giving Council; and is a past Secretary of the WSBA Elder Law Section.

John has been practicing law in Washington State since 1991; he grew up in New Hampshire and received his law degree in 1990 from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (then known as the Franklin Pierce Law Center). After law school, he earned a prestigious one-year clerkship with the New Hampshire Superior Court, the major trial-level court for the state.

John has called Washington home since 1991 and in his spare time enjoys doing volunteer work as well as hiking, snowshoeing and other outdoor activities.
