Judicial Candidate Forums

Candidates in the state and local judicial races on the November ballot have been invited to attend one of four forums being held in Seattle in September. Each forum is sponsored by the King County Bar Association and will be held at KCBA’s offices at 1200 Fifth Avenue, Suite 700, in Seattle.

KCBA has posted a flyer for the forums as well as a list of the candidates for all open seats on the State Supreme Court, King County Superior Court, and King County District Court, his or her KCBA rating, and a link to each candidate’s website

The forums will only feature candidates in contested races; the candidates for six superior court positions will be divided between the two forums on September 19 (12:00-1:30 and 4:00-5:30) with each forum featuring candidates from three of those races.

A forum on September 26 from 12:00-1:30 will feature candidates for three positions on the State Supreme Court, and the forum on September 30 from 12:00-1:30 will be dedicated to the race for a single seat on the district court bench.
